Dresses: Practical, Playful & Versatile!

As a buyer / owner of a kids boutique and also a practical mom every season I choose to go heavy on stocking dresses. Why? Because they are practical, versatile and fashionable pieces to have in the closet. Let me explain why buying a dress, which might cost slightly more than a t-shirt gets you more bang for your buck!

Practical: I like to call them an all-in-one piece. You get the entire outfit from a single piece of clothing. Get them up, throw on a dress and voilà they're ready to go. When I choose a dress for the shop I make sure comfort and style are the headliners. Choosing 100% cotton pieces means soft, and cozy with easy care. Selecting trendy designs, keeps it their favorite for years to come, until it is ready to be passed down of course. 

Versatile: If you've never shopped for a dress before then you may not know that they last for years! Once the dress becomes too short it doubles as a tunic (that's a fancy way of saying a top). Now it can be worn with shorts, leggings or jeans. Layer it up as needed and again, you've got a year round piece to love even more. 

Fashionable: We wouldn't have lasted for over 19 years in the industry if we didn't know how to pick fashionable and trendy prints from all over the world. Since our shops size range is so large we like to stock a variety of styles. The younger sizes are bright and playful while we lean towards more mature color and cuts and less prints for the older kids.
