About the Lee White:

Lee White spends his days breathing life into his imaginary world. He works primarily in watercolor, but likes to include all sorts of media, such as ink, colored pencil and collage.

He has illustrated a number of children’s books, including What Are You Glad About? What Are You Mad About? and The Lost Track of Time. His latest, Emma and the Whale, will be released in March 2017.He has also done commercial work for various clients, including Marks & Spencer, Amazon, Laika, United Airlines, Verizon, Disney and National Geographic. He is represented by Rodeen Literary Management and Spinning Yarn Illustration Agency.

Lee graduated with honors from ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California, and earned his MFA in illustration, also with honors, from the University of Hartford in Connecticut.

He lives with his wife and his little boy in a 100-year-old house in Portland, Oregon.
