Check out a behind the scenes look at our most recent Black Wagon photo shoot. We put together the shoot to showcase some of our fantastic brands, and the finished pictures are… well, you’ll have to read on to see how awesome they turned out.

While these photos say it all, we had to share a little background. Our models are true blue Black Wagon kiddos who have grown up with Black Wagon. This was such an exciting group of kids to work with, because the old schoolers were such a joy and pleasure to work with both for their familiarity and enthusiasm for the irreverent vibe that is Black Wagon, and our newbie models took to task with ease and joy! The mustaches helped a lot, too!

Have to give a shout out to the amazing Palace of Industry, who graciously opened up their space early so we could run amok amongst their beautiful collections of vintage ephemera. If you’ve yet to check out this cozy boutique, do yourself a favor and make a point to get there. You can even stroll about and shop in between drinks, as Palace of Industry has a full bar and snacks.

A big shout out goes to Photographer Allison Azevedo, woman extraordinaire, for capturing these amazing kids in all their sassy glory!

Black Wagon welcomes Karl Johnson, a 3rd-generation silhouette artist. His work has appeared in over 30 national publications including “The O List” in O Magazine, People, In Style, Martha Stewart Wedding, Parents, Elegant Bride, Nickelodeon, People, Country Home, Country Living and many others.

He has created silhouettes for thousands of special people including celebrities and their children. The list includes Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Jennifer Garner, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony & Hilary Duff. His silhouettes are also featured in the new Black Swan movie with Natalie Portman.
