Mae Jemison changed the world by being curious instead of afraid. She never let others tell her what to do, and never let her fears hold her back from her goals. In 1992, Mae Jemison broke barriers and made history by becoming the first woman of color in the world to travel to space. As a young girl dreaming about the stars and conducting science experiments to her later years of traveling the world as a doctor and rocketing to outer space, Mae always knew what she wanted and did anything in her power to make it happen. We are thrilled to be dreaming and doing with her at the helm.
